I agree with the other reviewer in that this 30" is the leader in its class of IPS panel with gorgeous resolution and yet affordable price. Connectivity is hardly an issue if you intend to use it at its native 2560x1600 (why would anyone use any lower res). Apple has stopped making 30" Cinema so even the double priced alternate is gone.
